Poron®
Expanded polyurethane
DESCRIPTION
Calibrated semi-closed-cell expanded polyurethane with excellent elastic return guaranteeing that the structure is maintained after compression.
Poron® has excellent impermeability against water, dust and air. It is available with a PET film coating that makes it easily workable and increases its mechanical resistance and in extremely thin forms (from 0.3 mm) that maintain its excellent performance and ensure exceptional shock absorption.
The special feature of Poron XRD® its shock resistance and protection even at high speeds. Thanks to its composition the soft material “freezes” when subjected to impact, being transformed into a protective shell capable of instantaneously dissipating the impact and absorbing up to 90% of the energy generated, protecting the body or objects better than any other material on the market.
It is used for protective clothing and impact protection.
SUPPLY
Poron® is available in rolls or in particular finishes according to designs, including adhesive forms, in thicknesses from 0.3 and densities from 240 to 480 kg/m3. Some thicknesses are supported by PET film to increase stability and mechanical resistance.
